Job Description Roles & Responsibilities 1. Develop, implement, and manage quality control plans for pipeline construction, welding, installation, and maintenance. 2. Maintain quality control documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITP), quality assurance records, and non-conformance reports (NCR). 3. Perform inspections and tests at various stages of pipeline construction, including welding, coating, and pressure testing, to verify compliance with specifications. 4. Oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures such as ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), and visual inspections. 5. Conduct material inspection and verification to ensure the correct materials are used in pipeline construction. 6. Monitor and inspect welding procedures to ensure the correct welding techniques and materials are used, adhering to quality standards. 7. Review and approve welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR). 9. Identify any quality issues, non-conformities, or defects in pipeline systems and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). 11. Work closely with engineers, project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle. 12. Provide training and guidance to personnel involved in pipeline construction to ensure quality standards are maintained.
