Key Responsibilities: - Create and review electrical designs for power, lighting, and communication systems. - Approve material and technical documents for electrical installations. - Ensure designs meet project requirements, standards, and local regulations. - Work with architects and engineers to integrate electrical systems into the project. - Guide on-site teams and contractors during installation and commissioning. - Solve any electrical design or installation issues quickly. - Inspect electrical systems to ensure they meet quality and project standards. - Address non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. - Ensure all electrical work follows safety and energy efficiency rules. - Help prepare budgets and cost estimates for electrical systems. - Optimize resources to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising quality. - Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment. - Oversee the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they function correctly. - Resolve issues identified during testing. - Prepare and submit detailed reports on commissioning and as-built systems. - Maintain accurate records of electrical designs, changes, inspections, and tests. - Prepare progress reports for the Projects Manager, highlighting milestones and challenges. - Contribute to the preparation of operation manuals and maintenance guidelines for electrical systems. Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree is a plus). - 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in construction. - Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certifications preferred. - Proficient in design software like AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk, and SketchUp. - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and installation techniques. - Familiar with project management tools and methods.
