Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job purpose Provides strong and robust thoughts, guidance, insights while leading the Capability Development cycle end-to-end activities at OQ8, under Head Talent Management scope, serves as the owner for managing the skills and knowledge development of OQ8 staff, through; (1) Designing, implementing, and managing training and development programs to enhance the skills and competencies of OQ8 personnel, (2) Lead the Processes Assurance, Facilitation & support Generate reports and provide assessment tool kit to support technical development end-to-end activities, and (3) Ensure the competence and readiness to operate, maintain, and optimize the OQ8's processes efficiently and safely; in order to ensure highly skilled workforce capable of optimizing OQ8 processes, maintaining safety standards, and meeting regulatory requirements. Main tasks and responsibilities Technical and non-Technical Training Strategy • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive technical training and development strategy that aligns with the refinery's operational goals and industry standards. Technical and non-technical Skill Assessment • Lead in identifying skill gaps and training needs among refinery personnel through assessments, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms. • Lead in the collaboration with department heads and managers to determine specific training requirements. Training Program / Curriculum Development • Lead the Designing, developing, and maintaining technical training programs covering various aspects of refinery operations, including safety, equipment maintenance, process optimization, and environmental compliance. • Develop and customize training programs and curricula based on identified needs and objectives. • Incorporate industry best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance into training materials.
