Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Be familiar with Power Plant process (water & steam cycle) and mechanical engineering design, Performance engineering design experience in combine cycle power plants will be preferred Be familiar with Power Plant KPI, including major equipment working principle and performance characteristics, especially the current mainstream GT/HRSG/ST/Condenser model Solid knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer; Master the performance calculation methods and standards: Be familiar with international performance testing standard such as ASME PTC and IEC, or corresponding national standards Have modeling and simulation capabilities. Be able to conduct system modeling and simulation using software such as Thermoflex/GT pro/EBSILON/Gate Cycle, ete Review of tender documents to understand the client performance related specifications etc. and prepare technical input list/technical clarifications and list of deviations when required Responsible for power plant heat mass balance diagram generating and optimization Performance Design and Planning: During the plant bidding, system modeling and thermal calculations are conducted using software to optimize circulation parameters and equipment selection, and to evaluate the efficiency and output of different design schemes Performance analysis and optimization: For power plants, use software to conduct steady-state performance analysis, calculate thermal efficiency and heat consumption rate, identify the causes of performance deviations, and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement measures Auxiliary power consumption calculation, analysis and optimization; Preparing plant performance guarantee documents
