Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Purpose: Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the objective is to manage the preventive and predictive maintenance schedules of the plant and ensure a safe working environment in compliance with the company's safety policy and procedures. Responsibilities: Ensure that all machines and personnel are working in a safe manner and that all operating and maintenance policies, rules, and procedures are aligned with Cemex HSE standards. Set the preventive and predictive periodic plans and programs of maintenance and supervise the execution. Troubleshoot the technical breakdowns for the equipment and define the root causes. Plan and manage the plant shutdowns, major replacements, and upgrade projects. Ensure the availability of spare parts and maintenance materials in the warehouse, preparing requisitions for purchases as needed. Plan, prepare, and set the scope of works of the required services and external repairs. Follow up the execution and conduct the acceptance tests upon work completions. Control the maintenance tools, stores and equipment. Assign the manpower throughout the shifts to balance the department performance with the production demands.
