Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Purpose The Chief Electrician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of drilling rig electrical systems. You will be overseeing all aspects of electrical maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. The Chief Electrician ensures compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures, while contributing to the overall success of drilling operations. This includes performing duties in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ordering parts, and administering the Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) to ensure all electrical equipment is serviced according to schedule.
