Job Description Roles & Responsibilities As our Senior Pipeline Engineer, you will work as part of the Cairo Office Engineering Department team, supporting and performing duties related to the design and engineering of pipeline systems, both offshore and onshore. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support and reviewing relevant Marine Warranty Survey pipeline technical documentation. Your responsibilities will include: Take part in Technical and Procedural Reviews and Study Reports covering Projects as well as Site attendance. Contribute to the continual development of the Business Lines offered in the region. Prepare as required and assist with technical inputs on projects and working on interfaces, with increased responsibility and complexity. Review pipeline design basis and ensure its full compliance to project specifications and Scope of Work. Manage a defined project scope within schedule and budget and resolve design irregularities. Planning the site visits including attendance when required. Prepare, review, analyse, and interpret technical data more independently and accurately. Take on greater responsibility in report writing and Technical Note preparation, with a focus on creating initial reports and analyses for review by experienced professionals. Undertake more complex analytical work, create, and maintain advanced spreadsheets and databases. Attend meetings together with senior managers and support where needed. Assist with the conduction of Technical Projects. Assist with the conducting of Assurance Projects. Assist with the preparation of tenders and proposals for services and other related projects. Ensure all operations are conducted in full compliance with approved instructions, procedures and policies.
