Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Provide general electrical engineering support to projects, operations and maintenance and contribute to the division strategy and goals. Have basic understanding of electrical drawings, components as below: Single Line Diagram and familiarization of symbols, legends used there (e.g., 132kV / 66kV / 33kV / 11kV / 6.6kV / 415V isolator / fuse / switch / circuit breaker, MCCB / MCB) Basic schematic diagram of PDB/LDB/415V LV switchgear Familiarization of components and their usage: transformer, relay, UPS, cables, motor, generator, capacitor Fundamentals of protection relays and some basic protections like Overcurrent, Earth fault, Under voltage protection and their usage. Fundamentals of power generation and control Generator operation mode: Isochronous, Droop Means to control generator active, reactive power. Concept of load shedding. Familiar with the application of basic electrical theory and equations: Active, reactive power of the system Calculate power factor
