Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Operations & Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of LPG/NG systems, equipment, and facilities. This includes managing installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities • Supervise and ensure the efficient operation of LPG/NG distribution systems, storage tanks, pipelines, and associated equipment. • Monitor system performance and address operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. • Plan and coordinate routine inspections, calibrations, and performance testing of LPG/NG systems. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for LPG/NG installations. • Conduct technical inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of faulty equipment (e.g., regulators, vaporizers, valves, meters, pipelines). • Respond to emergency situations and breakdowns, ensuring rapid restoration of services. • Ensure spare parts and tools are available to handle maintenance activities efficiently. • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, including UAE Fire and Safety Codes and other relevant industry standards (e.g., ADNOC, DM). • Implement and promote safety procedures for LPG/NG system operation, maintenance, and emergency response. • Conduct safety audits, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation plans for LPG/NG installations. • Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies to ensure periodic testing and certification of LPG/NG systems.
