Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Oversee operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, and related plant equipment. Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and enhance system reliability. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead repair works for refrigeration and cold storage systems. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, particularly regarding ammonia handling. Monitor plant performance, analyze operating data, and suggest improvements for energy efficiency. Coordinate with AC technicians and operators for day-to-day plant operations. Prepare maintenance reports, equipment history, and technical documentation. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical systems and equipment in cold storage facilities. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures during plant maintenance and operation. Train and guide technicians and junior staff on safe handling and technical procedures.
