Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Under broad direction, leads and directs the safe and environmentally compliant operation of the chemical manufacturing plant. Oversees and is accountable for meeting the plant budget, developing and executing plant goals, managing and developing the site leadership team. The Plant Manager is expected to interface with the site&aposs customers to build relationships and assure a strong customer focus down through the plant organization. Skills are typically acquired through a minimum of 10 years of progressive production experience in a chemical manufacturing or batch processing environment and 5 years of direct supervisory experience. Bachelor&aposs degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is required.
