Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Senior Commissioning Engineer will lead MEP and sustainability-related commissioning activities, including LEED, Estidama, and other local rating systems. The role also involves overseeing the implementation and performance verification of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) under ESCO projects, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and performing as intended. Sustainability & MEP Commissioning Manage commissioning activities across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and life safety systems. Review design documents, submittals, and commissioning plans for compliance with LEED, Estidama, Mostadam, and local green building codes. Perform site inspections, functional testing, witnessing, and verification of system performance. Prepare commissioning documentation, logs, reports, and final handover packages. ECM / ESCO Project Responsibilities Conduct constructability reviews to ensure ECM designs are practical and aligned with site conditions. Review drawings, specifications, sequences of operation, and shop drawings for implementation feasibility. Perform site walk-downs to verify existing conditions and identify installation risks. Oversee installation quality, ensure adherence to approved designs, and flag deviations affecting performance. Witness ECM functional tests (VFDs, lighting controls, HVAC, BMS integration) and document all results. Verify energy performance against ESCO baseline assumptions using BMS trends, data loggers, or meter readings. Ensure proper training, O&M documentation, and commissioning close-out deliverables.
