Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Responsibilities (application to both levels) Job Scope Summary The Control Room Operator is responsible for the safe, environmentally compliant and efficient daily operation of the centrally controlled EfW system and its associated auxiliaries. The role operates the plant from the main control room using the Distributed Control System (DCS) and associated manual systems, including safe operation of overhead cranes. The position is structured into two competency levels: Junior Control Room Operator should operate within defined procedures and boundaries. Performs routine inspections and operational activities within well-defined procedures and boundaries. Works under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor or Senior Control Room Operator and comply on the established operating procedures.
