Conduct thorough inspections of static equipment (pressure vessels, tanks, piping) to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, codes, and standards. Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify defects and ensure structural integrity. Review and verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and welding quality to maintain the highest standards of workmanship. Monitor and control quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, material certificates, and welding records. Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to project specifications and client requirements. Provide technical expertise and guidance on quality-related matters to project teams and contractors.
